How entries are created

• Manual entries are created every time you save (Ctrl+S / Save in Sandbox).
• Auto entries are created automatically after a period of inactivity — if you stop typing for a while, your current progress is backed up on its own, so you don’t lose work even if you forget to save.

Setting the Auto Save Interval

Go to File → Auto Save Interval and choose 1, 3, or 5 minutes (3 minutes is the default). This controls how long the app waits after you stop typing before it creates an automatic backup.

Restoring a previous version

1. Open the file whose history you want to browse.
2. Click History at the bottom of the Files panel to expand it.
3. Click any entry to instantly restore your file to that point in time.

How long is history kept?

Up to the 50 most recent backups per file are kept, for 72 hours. Hover the ⓘ icon next to "History" for a quick reminder of this. Older backups are cleared out automatically — history is meant for short-term recovery, not permanent version control.
